The IC 2000S is used to record welding processes lasting several hours.12 scanning channels can be set up according to the respective welding processes required. The following settings are the standard settings installed by IEG, but these can be altered as required.
IC 2000 S
Channel A Position (time axis, distance or degree) scanning rate 100 Hz
Channel B Welding current (nominal setting to power source and actual value measured by a Hall sensor) scanning rate 100 Hz
Channel C Welding voltage (Actual and nominal value for the arc length monitoring) scanning rate 1Hz
Channel D Axis speed (nominal and actual value) scanning rate1 Hz
Channel E Cold wire (nominal and actual value) scanning rate 1Hz
Channel F Gas (Gas 1 and Gas 2) scanning rate 1Hz
PCMCIA-cards are used for filing. After ending the welding process the data are transferred to an office PC and formated using the IEG software.
